What is DK Lottery?

Results for Dirty Kansas lottery are announced today... and you only get an email if you are selected
(ie: we are all starting to be worry for not receiving an email yet)

Patiently waiting, one of my teammates that deferred last year to this year (she had to pay the entry fee again) got selected. She's one of the few doing the 200 in the single speed division. But she was guaranteed entrance since she was selected last year and had to defer so no surprise those emails went out first.

Some friends and teammates of mine have signed up to volunteer which gets you entry for next year. Not all volunteering assignments get you in but I hear website shows which ones.

I signed up as part of a 4-person team.

One person on our team was accepted and the other 3 of us didn't make it.

I thought "team" meant "all or nothing" so you either all got in or none of you got in. I guess I need to do more research on what DK's definition of "team" is.

They are really reliant on all members entering the correct team name. If there’s differences in spelling or spaces you won’t be properly grouped. Any chance there was an error there?

I def considered that.

We also had a women's team enter and the same thing happened - one person accepted, 3 rejected.

I won't rule out us guys screwing something up, but the women are usually above bungling something like this.

Yup. Funny story: three years ago we'd rented a room there on Air BnB and there was one other person in house at time. Morning after race my buddy and I were sitting in the sunroom sipping coffee and totally blown out. I said to him "we should rent this for next year." He responded "a room?" Me: "No, the whole place." So we have every year since, much to the chagrin of LT and every brand that comes to town.
