Quick question to you cycle pros out there... I am 6'3" tall, ride a 2002 Trek Hilo with a standard crank arm length. Do I need to use longer cranks based on my size or are the satandard length cranks correct?

What do you mean by "standard length" as the "standard Length" that comes with a bicycle usually varies with frame size, longer cranks on bigger frames.
IMHO, crank length is overrated as a speed improvement variable, unless it is clearly too long or too short.
