Anyone have an idea of what the coldest 70.3 is on the Ironman circuit? I'm assuming its most likely in Europe.

No idea, but St. George on an off day will make the list. Of course, it could also be 90F and sunny.

Trying to find ones that are consistently cooler and now having to rely on an "OFF" day for it to be cool.

Did Lake Placid 70.3, last year, it never reached 10C all day I believe. It was 4C in AM getting ready in transition. Bitterly cold on the bike descents. They had a warming tent at swim start. Not sure how it was this year. Not likely to have a scorcher there.

Placid looks good. I wonder if they will keep it around the same dates for next year. It still says TBD

I don't recall it being warm at all. It was somewhat pleasant on the run I felt. I think it went into the 60s.

69.8 was the high:

The water was, not the run.

I would vote Placid as well, seems consistent in its short history but I would also plug a vote for Maine 70.3 as even if it is sunny and more in the upper 70s the course is very shaded and protected.

I looked at Maine..seems like the weather during that time of the year runs fairly cool.

Lake Placid 70.3 was 47F at the start and only had a high of 57F. 6-10 mph winds made the bike chilly but the run was perfect.

Did Boise 70.3 one year and there was rain and snow when they bused you out to the start. Waiting for my wave it was probably 35, windy, and raining, snowing up on the hills. Swim was cold and it was so cold that they only had you ride into town, like 10 miles and then do the run. Some elected to ride in their wetsuits. Fortunately the sun came out on the run and it got to 50F. My best run ever!
