Co2 inflators vs valve extenders
Hi all

So my long standing Genuine inflations co2 inflator has finally failed. And this one isn't in production any more.

Which Co2 inflator do, and don't, work with valve extenders (I'm using the Zipp extenders where the valve remains in the 'original' part of the tube and so the end connecting to a pump does not have any external threads, just a flared end. Like these. And are reliable!

Any of the ones that have a press-on chuck will work.

I use this one and have been quite happy with it (I use the old "straw" extenders, same as you): https://www.amazon.com/...SA%3D%3D&sr=8-14

Lots of folks have good things to say about the Silca one: https://www.backcountry.com/...lEAQYASABEgKhXvD_BwE

Thanks V much.
Genuine Inflations one ordered (the last one lasted about 20 years, so I really have no complaints
In fact I sort of got lucky in a way. It failed when (not) fixing puncture 5 miles from home and not in the middle of a race. Or worse middle of nowhere... in the middle of a race... in the middle of the night. Which is what it could have been for me in 2 weeks time !

I've been using this one. You twist the red lever to adjust the airflow. I find I can control the CO2 flow better than the push on won above.

I like the pro bike tool one too, for the same reason.

IIRC, that one threads onto the valve stem (so would require a threaded extender, one that relocated the RVC to the tip).
