Closed-loop rule at IM Canada
Am I right in remembering/assuming that the closed-loop rule (for aerobars) isn't in effect, or at least isn't enforced, at IM Canada?

Closed loop is not a nondrafting triathlon rule, at least in North America. Make sure your bar ends are plugged though. That rule is rigorously enforced.

Post: What does closed-loop mean?
the ends of the aerobars connected which makes a "closed loop" from one bar to the other (you can convert a bar to a closed loop by installing an aerolink). What a closed loop rule does is restricts the use of bar end shifters.
