Cervélo P2c

I am looking at buying my first tri bike and had someone offer me a Cervelo P2c for $500. It is an older model with the red and white paint job. Only issue and its a big one is I am 6'0 and the guy selling it is 6'5. My question is would it be a wast of money to buy a bike that might be way to big for me? Thanks.

Yes. If it's too big then it's definitely a waste. What size is it?

You probably need around a 56, maybe a 58. Any bigger than that and IMO it's a waste of money.

Yes, it's a waste of money. Never ever buy a frame one size too big. If a frame is way too small, there are ways to adjust it (stem etc.). Nonetheless the P2C is still a great frame!
