I lived there for several years but wasn't doing tris at the time so I don't have firsthand experience but I know there's a good tri shop there called tri it sports and it's near 12th and Crowchild. Check in with them and I'm sure they will be in tune with the local community.

Speed Theory is another good cycle store nearby - http://www.speedtheory.ca/ Believe they do group rides.
The weather is typically pretty good in July and August, and there are some great routes around and outside of the city. You'll enjoy it!

But back in the day there were always groups leaving from Westside King's Church on weekends to ride out to Bragg/Cochrane.
Show up on the hour and see who's heading out.
I ran mostly alone, but:
North Glenmore track for intervals
Glenmore Reservoir loop or Elbow River runs.
Swim at Repsol or Mount Royal University. I think MRU has a tri club?
Repsol was good but I found it so busy... tough to swim at certain times.
+1 for Kings Church is a good meeting spot for riding in Springbank (drivers out in that area are rich entitled a holes). Hwy 8 is seeing a lot of construction as a part of the ring road.
There are a few Tri clubs that use the MRU pool.
- Lynx Triathlon (coach owned squad) adult/AG oriented. Coach seems ok but nothing special.
- Kronos Tri Club (Non profit board operated club - has Adult AG but primarily focuses on youth/elite development. Quality coaches.
- Critical Speed - Cal Zaryski has his athletes there as well I believe. I known him a long time. Not a swimming expert but he has his athletes using a lot of USRPT inspired swim training.
Really Good running paths in/around the Glenmore Resevoir. Kronos kids do structured outdoor bricks in that park (Northside).
Glenmore pool is ok. Standard old school city pool (6 lane 25m). I swam there twice a week for 2 seasons. If you happen to have a Track bike it's next to a Velodrome. There is a standard outdoor running track there as well.
Driving wise it's not a big hike to Repsol or even the new Seton YMCA pool. Seton is consistently set up LCM - (50m) from 5:30 AM to 10 AM. At least 2 other coach owned tri squads swim at Seton - SOLO and No Limits. Todd at No Limits is again not a swim expert but more knowledge than the head guy at Solo, not sure if he has a swim specific coach covering these workouts.
