Sad to see that. Lots of posts on SM. His legacy is very safe in his grandson's hands/legs.

A huge loss for the sport. Rightfully remembered as one of the greatest, Poulidor may not have won the TDF but he had a tremendous career and was nothing less than a gentleman.

It really takes more than three weeks to reach a nature like his .. an all sportsmanlike legend !!
