I want to give a great bike shop some recognition. We have been in the OBX of NC for the past couple weeks and opted to rent bikes instead of bringing them along (2 big Chesapeakes are enough to lug around) this year. We rented bikes the first time from a shop that I'm not going to name but the whole experience was complete dog shit.
Next we went to Manteo Cyclery and they are AWESOME!!!
The bikes are well maintained, the owner is extremely accommodating and he actually hooked us up because of how long we are renting the bikes. Road bikes,fat tire, cruisers no TT bikes yet. I no it sounds simple but when other shops charge more than advertised and the gear sucks as well as having horrible attitude I felt I should give a great shop a plug.
