Bike setup-road to tri?
Should both bikes be setup same way as far as, seat height, and crank arm length?

If not, why not? And what changes should there be?

Go Bucs!!

IMHO saddle height is tied to your body dimensions and unless those change for some reason your saddleheight shouldn't change. The "actual" distance from center bottom bracket to top center saddle should remain constant, as should your crank length. Your attitude (angle/position) over the bottom bracket will change but not straight line proximity. Does that make sense?

yes, because isn't the bottom bracket the same distance but the seat moves forward of back depending on road or tri? or is it the other way around. But I do understand seat height--but one question if you are essentially moving the seat forward because of the angle realitve to the bottom bracket are you not essentially lowering the seat height?

no. because you are not JUST moving forward. you are moving in an arc around the bb shell. the arc is mostly forward relative to the ground, but it is also up a bit. the distance relative to the bb center remains the same.
