Bike fit via iPad?
I came across this article on Macrumors today:

https://www.macrumors.com/...tomy-lidar-ipad-pro/

... and it got me to thinking that if they can use the built-in lidar to do motion capture for range of motion analysis, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to use the same technology to do 3d motion capture for bike fitting. So, how far off are we from having an iPad app that'll do what Retul does today?

We've been keeping an eye on the tech that is going into mobile devices for a while. So far it's only been chinese phones that have 3D sensors.
We can easily port 3D motion and aero onto mobile devices, just need them to be common.
I'd caution against expecting to be able to home bike fit with them any time soon though - markerless capture (at this point) works well enough for slow actions but it's horrible for cycling.

Have you seen bike fast fit elite? It is a pretty useful tool that I have used in the ipad. Provides good angles and motion analysis. http://bikefastfit.com/
