so I've decided its time to step it up from road bike to tri bike and I have been looking at a few bikes around local shops but was looking for some impartial input on 2 bikes I like if anyone has these bikes or knows much about them.

Something that really threw me off was the cervelo only having 12 gears, I didn't realise this was a common thing with some bikes. My concern here is that although most races will be flat and the majority of riding will be indoor, i do have some great routes near by that have some decent hills. Cervelo link here:

The other bike I am looking at is a BMC. Both are similar in price so any pros and cons to consider greatly appreciated.
