I'll bite. I personally lust after a SuperProdigy, probably because its the new thing on the block, probably because its retro-style steel, probably because its spec'd exactly the way I'd like to have a road bike spec'd, down to the Mavic Classics Pro wheels and Speedplay pedals, probably because red and black are my favorite colors.

That said, they're all pretty damn nice bikes.

The seat stays and forks on the Specialized Roubaix are interesting. Looks like Colnago's concept on their C40 chainstays might be catching on...

Am I the only one who has spent the past few years NOT lusting over the Euro's bikes because they seem to spend so much time making poor equipment decisions? Until the new CSC Cervelo bikes and maybe the old TT bikes there was really nothing in Europe that was near as fast on paper as what I've got leaning against my wall right now.

it's called 'lust' not 'value'. we lust after these bikes cause they pretty not for perfomance . relax.

Well, Colnagos, Pinarellos, Wiliers et al don't seem to have slowed the pros down....good enough for me. Its all about the engine anyway, so why not look pretty doing it? :->

To this day one of my favorite all-time bikes is my current Colnago Dream. It just fits so perfectly. The paint is nice and all, but this thing just rides so great. I love it.

I'll second Tom on the Colnago ride. there is just something about the way the bike dives through corners that is "right"

The only way my Master X Light is leaving my fingers is if it dissolves to rust.
