Bianchi bike: english or italian Bottom Bracket
Quote | Reply
I have a Bianchi Vigorelli and I am trying to find out if the bottom bracket is Italian or English threaded. I know that usually Italian bikes have italian thread but I think this bike is made in Taiwan so I am not sure. Any Bianchi owners out there?

If it's made in Taiwan, it's almost for sure English.

Measure the BB shell width (minus the BB cups). If it's 68mm it's English, if it's 70mm it's Italian. As a final reality check, the fixed cup side of an Italian BB is threaded normal (righty tighty, lefty loosey), but an English fixed cup (chainring side) is backwards.
