Looking for recommendations on the best earbuds for swimming to make those pool laps flyyyy by. Quick Google search brings up the Zygo Solo at the top of some "Best of" lists: https://shopzygo.com/...ts/solo-for-parallax Not familiar with them myself and $300 is steep. I checked DC Rainmaker and didn't find any reviews for swimming earbuds so I'm looking to you! Whadya got? Thanks in advance!

I have used the waterproof Mighty Vibe and have had good experiences with it. Once in awhile I had to "twist" the male connector if the sound was only working in one earpiece, but otherwise they're fine.

Have to have a premium Spotify account or Amazon Prime to get music on them, though...

If you have MP3's laying around I'd recommend the Shokz Openswim's. I tried the Delphin Android player but I could never get their earbuds to stay in. I wish someone could combine the two so you could easily transfer music to the headphones but I'm currently enjoying the best of the 90s on the Shokz's.

Underwater Audio has a variety of earbuds. I've used several of them over the past 15+ years with great success.

It's crazy that they are still the only option for this - and fairly recently too.

I was looking for some reviews of Zygo - sounds like it could work but I am not huge fan of the bone conduction earphones.

Next races on the schedule: none at the moment

I have the Syryn; it's not perfect but for $70 I have zero complaints and it keeps me from losing my mind with boredom on those long days. The earbuds keep most water out and I can hear the audio just fine.

You just plug it in to your computer and transfer files (MP3, WMA, AAC, M4a), which is straightforward for music and podcasts. Audiobooks are trickier as you have to convert the file and Audible in particular doesn't like that, but there are systems you can use or some library formats. YMMV there. Also, for books, you can accidentally skip chapters with the buttons if you don't pay attention, but once you get used to the quirks it's pretty straightforward.

After Shokz Xtrainers though you have to load music on to them!
