Bay Area Orthotics?
I am an over-pronator and I have been suffering with shin splints for a long time. My physical therapist says I need a custom orthotic made and has referred me to the podiatrist. Unfortunately I have Kaiser and don’t have much confidence in their ability. Slowman says in his going long article on orthotics you should seek out the “Jim Rice” in your area to get it done right. Somehow I don’t think I will find that person at Kaiser.

Anybody have a recommendation in the East Bay Area?

Thanks

Dave

I would suggest Dr. Doug Ehrenberg. He's located in Corte Madera (Marin County - close to the east bay). I refer all my clients who need orthotics to him and have had very good results. He can do orthotics for both your bike and your run.

Thanks Christopher,

Corte Madera is a little far from Livermore. Somebody also recommended Dr. Steve Bartis in Los Gatos. He has done Ultraman a few times so he should know about overuse injuries.

Thanks again,

Dave
