When I ride my fixed-wheel trainer I get bad back pain. I have no problem riding the exact same bike on the road. I've thought about this a lot, and I really don't understand what the difference is between the two. Maybe my hips don't get the same type of motion on a trainer.
I did break my back a few years ago and have some slipped disc issues, but the fact remains that riding on the road is fine, riding on a trainer is not fine.
I wonder if rollers would simulate riding on the road better than a fixed wheel trainer.
Anyone else suffer from this or have any suggestions?
