I think this is an amazing news for the sport.
Looks like Challenge & Super League are doing much better than Ironman these days.

The Beeb have done a good job televising ITU racing for several years now with knowledgeable commentatord Annie Emmerson, with some other presenters like Louise Minchinhampton also being an age grouper.

My one moan from last year's broadcasts was Macca's incessant pushing of the price purse and the top 10 getting contracts, whilst failing to realise it was a huge turn off and the prize money was what some 3rd rate wendyballer gets in a week for falling over when someone gets within 3 yards of making a tackle. So if they've put a gag in his mouth or made sure he gets tazered live on TV every time he says something about them, that's a great improvement.
