Apple Watch and Zwift

Is anyone consistently and reliably getting their Apple Watch to pair with Zwift? I have a Series 5, and pairing it gives me nothing but headaches. I’m trying to decide if I just go ahead and buy a Bluetooth enabled HRM.

Honestly I've never tried because trainer time is when I put my watch on the charger. By the time I'm done and out fo the shower it's back to 100%. Instead, I use the Wahoo armband with Zwift and it works great.

It will not pair with Zwift. You can connect other devices to the Apple Watch (such as a bluetooth HRM) but not the other way around currently. The Apple Watch will not broadcast its built-in HR to Zwift. You can however pair it this way (which to me is a hassle):

I would suggest buying an inexpensive bluetooth HRM and don't bother with the headache.

Yes it will. There’s a Zwift app for the Apple Watch which records HR. I haven’t used it yet but it’s there.

Thats the link I posted....it works via iPhone first to pair it....which I suggested is not optimal and even om iPad is seems to have gotchas so I suggested the inexpensive hrm...especially sine the post implies the connection isn't stable.
