Anyone use a Bkool with Zwift
I just bought a second hand Bkool trainer.
Its listed as having Bluetooth, I am able to connect it to my Apple TV as a power source but I can't get it to connect as a controllable trainer.
I am wondering if anyone has any insight?

I presume the bkool is a dumb trainer with a power reporting function (that’s where the Bluetooth part comes in).
Therefore while zwift can see it as a powermeter, it’s never going to be a controllable like a fe-c smart trainer.
It’s basically like having a pm on your bike.

BKool have never really played ball all that well with Zwift... a few things to check.

- See if there's a firmware update for that trainer to give it ANT+ FE-C capabilities.
- Try ANT+ if you're using Bluetooth (or vice versa).
- Trawl forums over on Zwift for support for the particular model you have.

Nope, Bkool is a full Smart trainer with FE-C etc....

Thanks for the tips, I will do all of those ideas.
I guess they were really trying to push people into their own eco system, maybe that's why no one bought them.
Yeah was using Bluetooth, since you can't really use ANT+ on a apple TV, but I can try it on my laptop just to see.

My bad.

Found this on their website, so they say it doesn't play with Zwift in Bluettooth.

The table didn't copy over very well.
Meant to be 2 columns. Ant+ and BT

Yes to ANT+ and zwift, No to BT and Zwift.
Trainerroad and Kinomap compatible with either. Rouvy and zwift only ANT+

Oh ok, got you.
Thank you very much.
I guess that means no to the Apple TV, I will try it later with my laptop and the ant+ stick that I have.
