Any use for a broken kickr
My original kickr died. They were great and sent me a refurbished model at a discount. But now I have the old one sitting around. Does anyone take them back ? When mine broke it stopped reading speed and watts and just let me spin freely.

Mine did the same thing under warranty and they replaced it with a refurbished one. I am surprised they didn’t take yours back. My first guess would be to call them and see if they will offer you anything for yours. It can always go in the refurbished fleet.

Now having gone through all the diagnostics they wanted me to try, I would guess that there is an optical sensor that dies. You would think someone with rudimentary electronics skills would have tried to fix the problem. You might try asking an electronics replace shop. I have seen a Kickr with the cover removed and there isn’t much inside. It might be an easy fix, or not.
