Any smoking deals on training wheels?
I left my wheels on the wheel truck last weekend. I can pay an incredible amount to get them to me in a few days, or wait a few weeks until someone is coming this way.

Friend of mine suggested I just buy a set of really cheap wheels to get me by and use the "free delivery" in a few weeks.

I swear I've seen some blow outs on Mavic Aksiums and similar wheels not too long ago, but didn't pay much attention to them.

Anyone seen anything lately? Would need to be free shipping in the two to three day range.

They aren't training wheels, but Excel had some really nice full carbon Mavic aero wheels for under $1000. It never hurts to have a spare set of nice wheels and that is a pretty bargain basement price. I would have picked up a set if I didn't a;ready have 2 or 3 extra sets of nice wheels. The wife would kill me for an n+4 purchase.

If you just want a set of wheels to keep your bike on the road for a few weeks without racing concerns your local Craigslist or Facebook marketplace is probably your best bet. Especially if you don't want to spend very much you could of score a set with tires/tubes too.

I’d ask my local community. I have like 3 sets of aluminum wheels in my garage

If you are still running QR's and rim brakes, these seem pretty good for a basic wheelset

Local is the best bet. Lots of takeoffs. Where are you located?

I'm bummed Flo got out of the aluminum wheel business because my Flo 30's have been great training wheels.
