If he can stay healthy, this will be a great story line for the sport.
I'm hoping he pulls it off.

Exciting! though this is a bad news for A.Yee. Unless he does huge improvements in his swim, he will get dropped in T1. UK betting for the Brownlee combo again, but less dominant than before.
The salvation for Yee might be the norwegian team, Murray and Mola.

Spaniard. Sorry for my english for the sensitive ones :P

I keep thinking that Alistair is past his prime, but he's only 31. I guess since he and Johnny got such early starts it feels like he's much older (and this will be his 4th Olympics if he makes it). The big concern about him is knowing he'll have to do a lot of run speedwork to be able to run with the likes of Luis, Blummenfelt, Mola, etc. His history of injury will make it interesting. I really hope he can do it!

I would love to see him win gold in Tokyo and put the hurt on Lange with a big surge running out of the energy lab for the win. That would be awesome.

This is great for the sport and hats off to the man for having ambitious goals.

Can't help thinking that the training requirements of one will be detrimental to the other. But I'd love for him to prove me wrong.

Don’t forget the team relay. Maybe his best chance of a medal. Along with Johnny, Jess and Georgia they have to be in with a medal shot. Individually you wouldn’t bet against him but I feel a podium is out of reach.

I would love to see him win gold in Tokyo and put the hurt on Lange with a big surge running out of the energy lab for the 8th place. That would be awesome.

Fixed it for you.
