I have a Gen2 Speed Concept Project One, purchased brand new with Aeolus 7 rims, now after 3 years I have started to notice the clear coat delaming (seperating) from the carbon on each rim.
Has anyone else had this problem, I have another friend with "5" and she has it happening, I have talked to my LBS and they said it was rock chips (I have worked at a collision center for 18 yrs I know what a rock chip is vs paint delam) and they sent everything in to Trek.
A week later I was told it was due to me cleaning them, again I work at a bodyshop I know better, so they wont stand behind the "FACTORY WARRANTY" that they say they have, even though I bought the bike brand new.
I guess I am trying to figure out if this really is a wide spread issue, and should Trek stand behind the manufacturing problem.
