Thanks for the interview. Pretty crazy to see his swim progress over the years. To go from a :48ish 50 (probably scy) to holding 1:08-1:09 LCM is really impressive.

Maybe there is hope for me. I recently actually managed a 40 second 50 yard in a 25 yard pool. :-)

great to see the progress of not only Matt but all of the other athletes in The Triathlon Squad that Paulo coaches. I swim at the same time as the squad and see them every Tuesday/Thursday and Friday swimming long course and their group is huge now. Probably about 25 athletes churning up the water each morning.

Going from a 48 sec 50 to holding 60 sec 100s is phenomenal improvement. He obv has a fair amount of swim talent which has enabled those 30-40K weeks to pay big dividends.
