IMO, in this day and age, not having results online by the end of the day is pretty lame.

Exactly! Sportstats had the Muskoka results posted by 1:00 pm (I think Dev. must have gave them a couple of loonies to post them early :-)). Sportstats best timers in the biz.

Its England, if they don't get them posted by Pub opening time (4pm) they are not going to get posted until the next day.

It also takes time to transfer the recorded times chalked onto local high school wall into a excell spreadsheet.

I have to say that when you mention your athletic "accomplishments" you're far more amusing.

It makes me glow with happiness that I can amuse you at least some of the time.

According to Gordo's site, Macca won and The Baron was fifth. It also says that Macca, Raynard Tissink and Richard Allen had their bikes stolen from transition overnight. Cannondale gave them loaners : )

It was a brutally tough course, the only flat bit was the swim and even then you had to run up a steep hill to transition. My altimeter made it 1450m ascent on the bike (~4800ft) and 350m on the run (~1150ft). Macca is reported to have said it was the toughest half he has done. But it was well organised and great fun, I finished in about 5:50 - nearly an hour longer than I managed a different halfIM last year.

I'm pretty surprised the results aren't up yet as they had them at the finish and had a net link (with WiFi) at the race.

Whatever happened to The Baron? I remember a few years ago he used to be a stud on the run, with the swim being his only weakness. Ever since Gordo retired he hasn't had any more breakout performances..? Anyone know why? What's his training like?
