404/Disc vs 808/808
Whats easier to handle? A 404 front and disc rear or a 808 front and 808 rear?

I need to change my setup.. running 808/808 right now and when the wind gusts picks up it gets a lil nerve wrecking... had a few close calls yesterday lol

I ran a 808-808 all last season, and being here in OK you can count on at least one day a week with 30+ winds.......I'll definately have a 404 to run up front this year. That 81mil just simply catches toooooo damn much up front for me!!

Can you just order a cover for your 808 rear? That should stabilize the ride, and give you probably the fastest wheel setup out there (along w/good tubes and tires).

Forgive my ignorance but why not consider an 808/disc set up? Wouldn't an 808 provide more benefit than a 404 front?

he is asking for what is most stable, not what is fastest.
808/disc *might* be a *little* more stable than 808/808 but my guess is if 808/808 is currently freaking him out, so will 808/disc
