35 degree vs 50 degree aero extensions
Have a 51 cm P2 with Profile designs cockpit Wing 80 with 35degree aluminum extensions. I know its not as aero as a tririg or 51 speedshop setup but looking at replacing my extensions with 50 degree.

Is the main advantage of 50 degree comfort? Or is it a case by case scenario for aero gains.

Another small advantage of my wing basebar is that it is narrower at 38cm. I am a smaller athlete. It seems most options are only 40 42 cm basebars.

My reach to back of pad is 421

Any input from STrs

you'd be going to the 50's for higher hands.

Is that more aero... tough question to answer without testing, as is whether it's more comfortable (for you)

The only way to really know for the comfort is to try it out, and for the gainz is to test.

Grip angle is all about comfort.
The 50deg will straighten your wrist
In the case of the Profile Design extensions the 50deg also has more rise - so your hands will be higher (unless you cut the grips)

As for aero - if you are more relaxed through hands and arms it can help with dropping your head lower, which is where the gains come from.
