Anyone out there using their 310XT as a head unit for their ANT+ Power Meter encounter issues when in close proximity to other ANT+ head units? I've gone to Garmin about this and haven't gotten a response, so I figured I'd see if anyone else out there is in the same boat.
Basically, I'm doing indoor group trainer sessions with a few other guys with PMs, I have a Quarq and the guy closest to me has a PowerTap. I haven't had much issue with my 310XT and CinQo in the past, just turn it on, start pedaling and 310 detects and starts reading data. In our basement rides, I'm picking up the power of whoever starts pedaling first, which usually results in me having to have them stop their warm up, then try and get it to pick up mine instead. Even so, once they resume pedaling the 310 will then to proceed to nag with incessant "Multiple Power Meters Detected" messages that I find horribly annoying since they announce a problem but propose no solution, I'm not aware of any way to select or pair with only with a specific meter.
Anyone encounter this indoors or out? I suppose this is a good impetus to not suck wheel during training rides because if I'm picking up everyone else’s readings from just being in the same room it's going to be a nightmare when my head unit is in line 2 feet behind a rear PT hub'd wheel.
