2018 Speed Concept - Torpedo, computer, and light mount?
I just purchased at 2018 Trek Speed Concept. The LBS and I are having difficulty finding a solution to mount the water bottle, computer, and headlight on my bike.

The real issue is the headlight.

I purchased the water bottle cage that is specifically designed for the Speed Concept. I also purchased the Garmin Edge 820 and the Varia UT800 headlight.

Does anyone have all 3 pieces mounted on their cockpit?

Any suggestions?

Pictures would be great!

Thank you,

Michael

I would guess that the light is only used in training, and therefore a separate mount for that should be preferable?

I like the Profile Design FC system

It is a BTA setup generic to any aerobars that has an integrated mount bar that I set up my Garmin mount on. You should be able to put something like a BarFly on that to hold a light below and a computer above.

I agonized over this. Ultimately found the Speedfil bottle mount system, with Garmin mount included, to be the best solution

Yes, the light would be training only. I would like to be able to remove both light and mount when racing.

Where did you put the light? What did you use to mount it?

Did the Bontrager light come with the band that you wrapped around the bar?

I have the Garmin UT800. It comes with the quarter turn friction mount. The issue is it requires a male connection (like on the back of all the Edge products).

I was hoping that Garmin had the male version of their quarter mount that can be strapped on using the bands the always accompany Edge products.

BTW - Nice bike!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look at the BarFly products to see if there is a compatible mount.

This is by far the best TT mount I have found for garmin & light or go pro.

Not sure what bars you are running exactly, so not sure if it will work or not.

The UT800 is also compatible with Gopro mounts so if you happen to have one of those kicking around (that you can mount on your aerobar or even on a fork blade), it will work.

Less is more.
