I've got a 2012 Cervelo RS Rival with 650 x 23c wheels. There are a ton of hard packed, crushed limestone surface trails where i live. Would it be dumb of me to ride this bike on those trails? Should i get wider tires?

You may not be able to go bigger. The front will be your limiter if there is one. I could not run anything larger than a 23 on my R3 of that same vintage. The rear you shouldn’t have any issues with 25. 25 is going to be your upper limit anyway so you can’t go too much bigger.
I would bring your bike into you Local Bike Shop and see what if anything bigger might fit
