Has anyone had any experiences or information about using the cellini quill adapter post that is used to fit a threadless type stem onto 1 inch quill type headset? Is this reliable? Right now i don't have the money to buy a new threadless carbon fork and headset, but some one will give me a new threaded carbon fork and headset.

I've used the Performance version of the adapter. Couldn't find a quill stem with the angle and length that I wanted, so tried that and still have it on today. 2 years, no problems. I have it on a Giant CFR road bike.
