My only hard time are the freedom units. Too much dumb math to do in my head.

I'm going with Phil Gil as a sentimental pick, swapping for T Popo.
I'll abide by the commissar's decisions as I continue my quest for the lantern rouge.

I will forever take PhilGil and that attacking style of his. Panache galore.

By the way, how does anyone not love how Carapaz rides. He won't win today, but what a beast and what a nice bloke.

LFF. He did me this year. Roglic is so strong he hurts himself at times.

Roglic was just a tad too aggressive but a helluva ride. Alaphilippe is back.

Roglic went waaaaaaay too early. Took off with almost 300 m to go. He’ll learn.

Alaphilippe looks rejuvenated.

yeah, Horner is unsparing in his criticism of Roglic going too early
history of this race really shows that no matter how strong you feel you gotta wait until 200 or 150 meters to go
great ride by the old man
oh man - sea lions !!

The math is easy, I just don't get the mixing of units.

Friggin LFF with the win. Would have been a good win for Rog if he had any patience.

Not just Roglic, but he went off on the entire Jumbo-Visma team for "continually used boneheaded tactics" (paraphrasing). Which I think was a bit harsh, as I think J-V is fairly competent at team stuff.

Also pretty brutal criticism of Bahrain for pulling the field like 30k out. The lack of filter is kind of refreshing. However, he does like to remind everyone about every 2-3 minutes that he was a pro for 25 years. Yes, Chris, we know. We know about you. I should 'gram him our Chris Horner meme picture with that 25 year quote across the bottom.

And over on the women's side, VdB tallying yet another Huy win. And savage (but perfectly acceptable) of Elisa to eject van Vleuten off the podium with a bike throw after van Vleuten decided to soft pedal 10m before the line. Poor Niewiadoma just can't figure out how to find the top step of a podium.

Of which only 15 or so were decent ;)

Yeah, those early years in Northern Cal when he lived in a camper in a remote spot where nobody could find him, like a low budget Tenerife from back in the day...

You'd think from Horner's criticism that Roglic finished 20th as a result of going early. Only 1 guy was better, who happens to be exceptional on that kind of finish, and not by much. Roglic played his hand going a little long, doubt he wanted to take on Alaphilippe at 100m to go.

A little Horner goes a long way. Frequently wrong but never in doubt.

He really took very good care of himself in his younger years and this enables him to keep going. It's all about training habits.

Those are both great ideas, especially Amber since she already presents. TY.

Amber is good on TR podcast. I would add Abby Mickey--already does a good job with Cycling Tips podcast-she has good background and talks very well/knowledgably.
