?? changing from threaded to threadless
Ok, after the good information from my previous thread on this subject (no pun intended), and since I really like my new frame, I'm getting a really good deal on a Profile BSC with carbon steerer. So, here's the question. How difficult is it to remove the threaded headset? I have no problem with installing the new threadless headset. I have a friend who owns a press. Are there any concerns or tricks to removing the old threaded headset without damaging the frame?

Thanks in advance.

There is a special tool to do it properly, but if you're careful you can do it with a hammer and screwdriver or punch. Just don't tell your local shop I told you to do that. :)
