"Born to Run" by Christopher McDougall, about the Tarahumara tribe in Mexico. Just read it. Loved it. Anyone else? Is any of it true? How do I learn to run like that? What's the best way to stop being a heel striker?!

Just got the book from the library. headed to St Thomas on wednesday, so thats going to be my in-flight reading. I'd say I'll let you know what I think- but in all likelyhood- I'm going to drink too much to remember the last few weeks of my life... damn destination weddings. (honestly, im amped)
Glad to hear you enjoyed it though
Hope I do too

I read it and thought it was great. It's been discussed here on ST quite a bit so you should do a search.
Ease yourself into barefoot running. I run on the sports fields at the local high school. Golf courses would be ideal but most would never allow it.
