So there have been a few of these "questions" in the past, but thought I get a fresh take...
Long story short - I was in a cycling accident a few months ago and my 2011 Cervelo P3 and tubular Zipp 404's are a total loss. I've got $5,500 to spend; how would you maximize these funds for a new tri specific setup as I already have a road bike? (I'll have already gotten a tri-specific fit.) The P3 worked well for me, I was very comfortable in aero...(I'm fairly fast but nothing crazy....Half IM bike split times are around 2:30.)
Some considerations:
Let's hear your thoughts and opinions on the approach you'd take to maximize the dollars.

Some considerations:
- I've never had a power meter and believe this might be a wise investment
- Would like to have a race ready set up as well...(I still have the Wheelbuilder Aerojacket for my rear 404 for races...)
- New bike, New Old Stock or pre-owned? Which?
- Wheels - type and New or pre-owned?
- Assume I don't need helmet, shoes, pedals or hydration.
