That is cheap compared to the DaVinci painting that sold for 400,000,000$ this week.

That is like the GDP of many small countries and is just one more data point indicating that tax cuts for people who already have all the money is the only way to improve the economy.

Interesting. I wonder how much a pair of Eddie Merckx's shoes would go for these days.

I would think purely as a long term financial investment it would probably make a fairly poor return...

I wouldn't buy them for $21 unless I thought I could con someone into paying more for them. Peter Sagan isn't exactly a household name outside of cycling enthusiasts.
