"exercise makes me nauseous"
I came across someone who claims this is an issue. She has tried to exercise in the past and they say it makes them nauseous. So she is now 34 and have never exercised.

Thoughts? Is this some kind of special condition and is there a treatment for it?

Mitchum doesn't work with Francois, just with Robert...unless you're really too young, or never watched an old style western

I'm pretty sure there are formulations of Mitchum that work for everyone. Well, except those who are truly nauseous. Of course, that was simply a suggestion: Learn didn't give quite enough information to fully diagnose the problem. I notice that Learn used the plural forms in the original post. Perhaps better-fitting support is the answer.

I like "The night of the hunter" and "Cape Fear."

What additional information do you want?

The subject in question is female.

Sounds like a whiny little bitch to me. Just like the overweight woman who told me she would rather die young than do any exercise. waaaaaaaaaaaaambulance.

Is she related to Gollum? "My precious.... nasty exercises, it makes us nauseous".

Maybe it's her multiple-personality disorder acting up? Perhaps one of them would actually enjoy exercise?

She could always take a hot shower afterwards, I hear that works wonders.

That was my initial internal-monologue reaction. She's 5'8 and 112 lbs. Def. not obese. She doesn't seem inclined NOT to exercise, however, and I was wondering if there was some known condition other than, well, fear.

Asthma, GERD, and probably a plethora of other conditions...

at that thin likely hypoglycemia - she should eat complex carbs/protein prior to workouts

someone that thin WITHOUT exercise I would be checking her thyroid, her fasting insulin/glucose, and making sure she is not anorexic/bullimic.

Or, she could be less than an optimally healthy individual. Peruse Marfan's syndrome for instance.

Yes. Pregnant for 34 years straight. That must be it.

First, since she is 34, you should know, it technically wouldn't be 34yrs.
Second, if you wrote more clearly, we would know how often, over what period this has happened.
Third, since you're the guy who goes through 50 gels per workout, I thought everything was possible...I'm just trying to be thorough here. :P

"exercise makes me nauseated"

unless she really means that she makes other people sick. in that case, stay away or avoid in general if you loathe incorrect grammar.

Hmmm. Well, I guess it'd be useful to know if she meant nauseous or nauseated. I suggested Mitchum in case she truly did mean nauseous.

OMG, is this Slowtwitch or WhinyAssGrammarNaziTwitch? I get as frustrated as the next guy by improper spelling/diction/syntax, but get over yourselves (there were multiple posts about this, so I feel justified in using the plural...).

It wouldn't be so bad if the suggested "correction" weren't unnecessary. Check out http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/nauseous

If you have a problem with the content of a post, ask for more information, but quit with the grammatical snipes (especially if you're wrong). The snipes are stupid and take away from the purpose of the forum, which is to talk about triathlon; I'm sure there are grammar newsgroups out there.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Well, there were two helpful posts here (setting a low bar) and 18 or so posts of jackasses trying to be funny about a grammatical error that turns out to have been their own.

Much better than I was expecting.

She consulted with a doc; sounds like hypoglycema. So points to CatisTriing.
