I don't even know where to start....just too much to comment on.
BTW, what's up with struggling to bench 135. I mean, a year of IM training has left me a 'girly man' by the meathead standards, but I am pretty confident even with my forgoeing the beach muscle's in my training I could still put up 135 without a struggle.

Yeah, a stud... Kissing Lance's poster (actually, that was sent out to probably EVERY cyclist in the nation asking for Livestrong donations).
And his lifting form is atrocious. I'd be embarassed if that were me.

You know, that was my reaction, too. But then I remembered that we don't technically know the whole story and shouldn't presume.
He could have been in his very last set and been doing drop sets, or he uses the barbell after he already cranked out flat db presses with 100s in each hand. We don't really know what he was working with before hitting 135. Or before he was girl squating 270 and looking like he was giving birth.
And he shouldn't care, either.
It cuts both ways, too. I have trouble with people passing me on the bike when they are out there for their 30 minute zip and go and I'm out there for what's suppose to be a z2, 5 hour effort. You WANT to show them whose boss but you wind up fuskering up your workout.
