They look like arse. I didn't know they still sold them till I got into triathlon, last time I saw them were on girls bikes when I was a kid. I'm trying to find some Vittoria Corsa Speeds in black, but all I can find is them with gum walls.

well good to know they still exist, cursory checks had come up blank. hey, i did say they were 'for a frend' right?. ;) they really are, and i just want to restore her to as close to original as possible.

2019 T-Rex Tri Series

I think the update corsa speed has grey sidewalls. At least mine does.

Vittoria Corsas come in either grey or tan.

Specialized Cotton Turbo. A great tire with low rolling resistance and surprising good durability for such a fast tire.

sounds like a great tire and i like the vintage treatment, if it were going on my bike that would be my choice.

thanks for the help all, these are 27 x 1 1/4 and panaracer does make their pasela in that size w gumwall, so that will do it.
