There are many excellent lap pools in amsterdam, pretty much all of them have public access (in my experience).

Most of them are clustered toward the downtown area and all of the ones that I have been to are really nice and at least 25m long. Here is a quick map:

Vondel Ĺ·Park is great for running. There is always someone to pace yourself against.

Ah I forgot about the Vondelpark! Loved running around there. I'd get stares on weekends when everyone was at the café drinking Heine's.

The best pool is
sloterparkbad (lots of lanes and olympic traning facility and bus 86 goes there schiphol in 36 minutes)
https://www.optisport.nl/sloterparkbad
If you have a wetsuit - you can swim at the lake (called Sloterplas) next to it.
Second best
Mirandabad (25m and quite a few lanes)
https://www.amsterdam.nl/sport/waar-sporten/zwembaden/mirandabad/
spare option is :
zuiderbad (good hours and about 30 meters but fast lane can have slow swimmers in it)
https://www.amsterdam.nl/sport/waar-sporten/zwembaden/zuiderbad/
and if necessary - this pool if you go early morning (not many access hours (25m and its kind of busy but the fast lane keeps moving)

If you travel as much as I do, frequent this website. Searching "Amsterdam airport" brings up roughly 20 results within 10 miles.

just went to sloterparkbad a few days back. Lovely facility...almost jumped into sloterplas, but no sunshine, cold windy, jet-lagged...etc etc excuse excuse.

Am headed to Amsterdam next week and need to swim while I am there. I am having trouble finding accurate schedules on available lane swimming times at any of these pools - where did you find the schedules?

The public, city-owned, pools are listed in the link below. I think all the ones mentioned above are there.
https://www.amsterdam.nl/...r-sporten/zwembaden/
Click the pool you're interested in. Then click "Openingstijden en lestijden". Then find "Banenzwemmen". Sometimes it's clustered in with "Recreatiezwemmen".
Hope this helps.

If you are staying near the airport, Hoofddorp has a very nice 25m facility:

Look for the times where it says "banenzwemmen"

This is very timely. I'll have a day to kill in Amsterdam in a couple of weeks. Definetly going to check it out.
