Also, if you have not checked him out already, watch any of Billy Yang's films. Some of them are up to an hour long. If you have any interest in ultrarunning, you will love the way he puts together his films.

Watched it during a treadmill run. I felt bad for him when he lost the rope on the river section. It looked like it took a lot out of him to get to the shore.

A Decade On is also good. It’s about Brian Morrison returning to finally obtain an official finish at Western States. His 2006 race is so soul crushing. I know it happened 14 years ago, but anytime I watch it I am willing him to get up and finish under his own power.

PRETTY sure Walmsley is not human. lol. Dude is insane. His 50 mile record was run at an average pace of 5:48/mi. Just crazy. I also like his run on rim-to-rim-to-rim in the grand canyon.

Also highly recommend "where dreams go to die", great film about an athlete (Gary Robbins) that tried to finish the Barkley Marathons (60 hour ultra event). will not spoil it to those that don't know the story, but its unbelievable.

That is by Ginger Runner. Another good one is the documentary about Gary Robbins run around Mt Ranier (the Wonderland Trail). I cannot recall the name of the movie....sorry
