tanning advice
Ok, yeah, I am a triathlete and I am outside a lot, but I am still white b/c I always wear sunscreen as my parents both had skin cancer. I always seem to be the whitest triathlete at races-looks like I do not even train. I need some advice on the best way to get a natural looking tan-no tanning booths for me and no orange looking fake stuff.

The spray tan looks pretty natural (don't know what it's called). Though I'm not convinced that putting a chemical on your skin to change its' color is better than getting some sun (frankly, I think it's worse). Just go with your natural look and take comfort in knowing your skin is probably the healthiest of everyone in your races!

I've done a spray on a few times and I thought it looked good. Usually I just do self tanner on my legs. Be sure to rub in in really well and try to get it on as even as possible.

Try to use the most natural sunscreen possible. Avoid the chemicals like the plague. There's some ideas out there that the sunscreen chemicals are worse than exposure to sun...Octyl methoxycinnamate (OMC) is one I've looked up.
We do need "some" sun, to help metabolize vitamin D.
Too much sun is a problem, and a sunburn is always harmful.
Good natural sunscreen:
