I am sharing with the Slowtwitch Community that on September 22nd, Meredith Novack (former pro triathlete) will attempt to be the FIRST FEMALE to ever swim from the islands of Lanai to Maui and back! She will battle Hawaii's waves, winds, sharks, jellyfish and currents for roughly 20 MILES. She's been training specifically for this goal since last year and hopes to SMASH the MEN'S RECORD of 11 hours and 45 minutes in the process!
Meredith's message is simple- when facing something tough in life just keep going! Always believe in yourself...no matter how much adversity you face you have to keep moving forward.
