The boy has been driving more often, so he's probably put something lame in there, but last time I checked it was Kanye West's Graduation. I'm in love with the shuffle feature on my I-pod - today's run included songs from Queen, Ludacris, The Stray Cats, Missy Elliot and The Killers.

I second Eminem's Till I collapse as an awesome workout song and add "Bombs over Baghdad" by Outkast, "Moment of Clarity" by Jay-Z and (hanging head in shame) "Survivor" by Destiny's Child.

At home: Chris Isaac, Pink Martini and Counting Crows (I think) I usually listen to NPR or my iPod at home.

on Saturday morning I woke up kind of cranky and had to get to swim practice. I snapped at my dad for some reason... went out to the car, and found that he'd left a new CD for me on the dashboard. This is one of the ways my family shows love for each other... little presents in the cars. Brother has left me good dark chocolate, I've put my dad's favorite type of tea on the dashboard of his... anyway, I felt soooo guilty for having snapped (and apologized later on in the day).

The cd - Saving Abel, "Saving." So that's what I've been listening to. If I need to relax... then I listen to Christian rock (East to West by Counting Crowns is a really good, soothing song! I'm not particularly religious, but I like the music). Ipod has Hinder, Aerosmith, Live, Rush, Collective Soul, Better than Ezra, Three Day's Grace, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I inherited my dad's taste in music, BTW.

I've been on a Guns and roses kick for the last few days. That and Warrant.

Funny story. I lived in Korea when I was in the Air Force. I got promoted to Captain in May of 1999. It was over memorial day weekend and there was a big 'concert' on base. Warrant was the lead act. Huge I tell you. My squadron had a band (Kitten Bulgogi...if you are a cat lover, sorry, this was the name of the band). I had a pet cat at the time, a rescue I found in Japan w/ 1/2 a tail. My cat Lucky was the band 'mascot'. Anyway, the band was good and opened for Warrant. Then we partied with Warrant all night long. I wasn't in the band. I was just a groupie, and owner of the cat. After the concert was my promotion party at a local bar. We all went (including warrant) and did karaoke. Warrant sang Cherry Pie to me.

That's why I love that song and warrant.
