US Du Nats - women's stories
Hi all, I'm just back home in Canada now and feeling fully rehydrated after a very tough race down in Richmond VA. It was a great experience to be able to race with all the best female duathletes (and triathletes doing the du thing!) in the States.

It looks like mostly guys have posted on the US Du Nats thread in the main forum.

Anybody want to share their experiences here? I couldn't stay for the tailgate party - had to check out of the hotel and hit the highway asap.

Fire away, would love to hear your perspective on your race!

C.

Hi Cassie - I shared my story on my blog (and Facebook). So many communities to share with!

Yes, I too am on Facebook. And LinkedIn. And Twitter. Which begs the question - do I exist in the physical world? Do I?

Is it too early to start seriously thinking about next year’s Oscar contenders? In a word, yes. But if it’s all in good fun, who really cares? Nat Rogers at the Film Experience has done just that.He rolls the dice on the Eastwood pic and comes up with a forecast of “maybe.” Good thing for that movie. The last thing it needs to be is the top-heavy frontrunner. I think of it like that scene in Jaws where no one is going into the water. Nat does a good job at not saying anything permanent that can’t be undone later.
