Recommended Saddles: Shared Document
Would anyone be interested in participating in creating a shared reference Excel spreadsheet with some recommended saddle types for all of us?

I have created a document at http://spreadsheets.google.com/...3MxOWhkb1E&hl=en. Feel free to modify the document with extra columns, etc. and also to only fill in information you are comfortable sharing (weight is a personal issue--wasn't sure if I should include it or not). You will notice there is no column for our names :-)

Hopefully this makes it easier for us to share recommendations without scrolling through a dozen archived posts on saddles.

Once I get to my local bike shop with a butt-O-meter, I'll be happy to post my results.

Off the top of my head, I'm not sure of the distance between my cheeks ;-)

In case anyone needs assistance measure their sit bones, here is a long thread on the topic: http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=2372

I used the method where I sit on a piece of paper on a concrete surface, then measure the centre to centre distance on the two impressions made by my sit bones. Not nearly as glamorous as the butt-o-meter, I must admit.
