Officially back in the tri game
Well, aqua bike.

Just signed up for the Oilman Tri (AB) on Nov. 4. First multi-sport race in maybe 3 years?

Time to get bike fit again. I'm loving swimming right now so that is no issue.

Great to have you back! I wish more people did aquabike, so there'd be more than 5 in my AG.

To breathe, to feel, to know I'm alive.

Thanks! Now, to figure out a long ride progression. Luckily there are a number of charity or organized rides around here in the next couple of months.

That’s fantastic!!

I desperately want to get back in ANY semblance of shape. It’s been tough after kid #4 though. Waiting for 2 kids to get back to school so I can manage something exercise related with only 2 kids in tow!đŸ˜‚đŸ˜‚

Congratulations! Enjoy the temperate weather while you still have it. Texas should be nice in November and I wish you well in your training!

That's totally cool! We're very happy for you, congrats on pushing thru.
I did the Aquabike in Philly, and really enjoyed the "Swim, Bike, Done" event.

Thanks all! First test back is Sunday (also my birthday). An Olympic distance AB and supposedly a "pretty flat" bike course. Should be fun. It will be the first time to wear a one-piece tri suit in a race.

I wore a one-piece kit last weekend for the first time and I swear it was a game changer. No futzing with the tank top, no worrying about "scaffolding" under the top, no budge at all in the shorts. I'm not sure how I'll feel about it for longer distances but dude, yeah.

Good luck this weekend!
