And she's wearing our twin rainbo brite splish :) She's 3:50 back at the start of the run. But I have run down the girl in the lead before, Imaizumi, and Bree is a much better runner than me. GOOOOO BREE!!

I was JUST going to post to try and find out if you, or anyone, knew what kind of runner this other girl is. I figured Bree might be saving a bit on the bike if she knew she could run her down. Now the question is... Can I stay awake late enough to find out the result tonight?

Nicest girl ever, hence the smile..
No updates on the women's race in over an hour. At 23k Naomi was still up by 6 min. They took away a Kona slot for the girls, because there is only one. Come on Bree!!

Checked results first thing this morning and it looks like Bree was 2nd by 5 minutes. Excellent race for Bree, hopefully she is happy with the result even though it wasn't 1st.

Amazing. I was wondering how she did when I woke up this morning. Yeah Bree!
I was just checking the results of the Subaru Vancouver HalfIron Triathlon and I was surprised to see Bree's name on the list. I only know Bree from this slowtwitch thread but I thought it was cool to know that she was in MY city racing on the streets that I run and ride on. I hope she enjoyed her time here.
I know that ITU Worlds were here in June while we were having our coldest and wettest June on record. Hopefully today she found the conditions much more favourable as the sun was out, the skies were blue, and Vancouver was looking as beautiful as it can be.
