Race week for me last week
M- off
Tues- run 30 min, yoga 1hr, swim 1700yds
Weds- ride 1 hr
Thurs- OW swim 15 min, run 15 min
Fri-off-- drove to and from Malibu from the OC to pickup race packet--drive home took about 3 hours vs <1.5 hrs to get there.
Sat-Raced Malibu Nautica Triathlon "International" distance. woke up at 2 am to get ready +s swim and transitons, --s bike (stopped to find helmet sticker stuck in my brakes) & run (more of walk than run, just wasn't feeling it). Overall slower than last year, but swim was about 10 minutes faster, good current + better swim training this year.
Sun- sleep--as I didn't sleep much the night before the race.
This week goals-
swim--3x
bike--1x maybe
run- 2-3x
recover and decide what to do next.
find a job.
